“Ankara’s return as a finish location after 27 years added symbolic significance to the event,” said Cevdet Yılmaz, reflecting on Sebastian Berwick’s victory in the Tour of Türkiye. This year’s race, held on May 3, 2026, marked a significant moment as it returned to Ankara for the first time since 1999.
