Lorna Hajdini: Allegations of Sexual Harassment at JPMorgan

Lorna Hajdini, a 37-year-old executive director in JPMorgan’s New York leveraged finance team, faces serious allegations of drugging and sexually abusing a junior male employee. The accusations have emerged from a lawsuit filed in the New York County Supreme Court on April 27, 2026.

The accuser, identified as John Doe, claims that Hajdini drugged him with a date rape drug shortly after he joined the firm in March 2024. The alleged abuse began soon after Hajdini’s appointment in April 2024 and included coercion into non-consensual sex acts.

Doe asserts that he felt threatened with career repercussions if he rejected Hajdini’s advances. He also reported that Hajdini made racially charged comments towards him during their interactions.

In May 2025, Doe filed a written complaint to JPMorgan’s HR team detailing the harassment and discrimination he experienced. The company conducted an investigation but concluded that they found no merit to the claims. A JPMorgan spokesman stated, “Following our investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims.”

Hajdini has since deleted or deactivated her LinkedIn profile amid the ongoing allegations. Her lawyers have publicly stated that she categorically denies the accusations against her.

The case echoes previous instances of male employees alleging sexual harassment by female superiors, such as the Damilare Ajao case. This raises broader concerns about workplace conduct and power dynamics within major financial institutions.

As this situation unfolds, further developments are expected regarding both the legal proceedings and JPMorgan’s internal response to the allegations.
